President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed an order pardoning a group of convicts.
The order was signed on the basis of humanism principles taking into account the appeals of several convicts, their family members, the Commissioner for Human Rights, human rights organizations to the President of the Azerbaijani Republic as well as the personality of convicts, their health state, family conditions, and their behavior during the conviction in accordance with the 22nd item of the article #109 of the Constitution of Azerbaijan.
